Brigham Farmhouse is a beautiful historic home with the perfect layout to host a group of friends or multi-generational families. The house comfortably accommodates 8 people, with 4 bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths.
The first floor features a bedroom suite, with a king bed and ADA bathroom accommodations. The 2nd floor has 2 large bedrooms with king beds, a 3rd bedroom with a double bed, and a study. The 3rd floor has the best view and space for all to relax, watch a movie, knit, read, or play games.
Enjoy your meals together around the grand dining room table in the great room, which mixes dining and relaxing. This room showcases a unique chandelier and a multi-leaf dining table to seat 12. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you'd find at home, including a coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, electric range, and fridge, with plenty of cabinets for your vacation groceries.
The outdoor amenities are just as spectacular with a front porch big enough for everyone to share morning coffee, lunch, or a cocktail. The side patio off the porch features a lounge area with a fire table and an outdoor grill. Enjoy games in the expansive yard connecting to area trails and then finish the evening relaxing on the front porch and/or the patio to share the stories of the day. The Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin is a special place to visit and explore! The name “Driftless” comes from the unglaciated landscape in this part of the state, thus offering wide open views and rolling hills.
Historical Property
Brigham Farmhouse is a unique property connected to the original farm of the Cave of the Mounds and Brigham Park. Built in 1903, we have thoughtfully restored this home to share with you. The privacy offered and the surrounding adventures in the area make this a special pace to spend a blissful weekend or host an intimate event. We are excited to share the property with you!

“Arriving on a rainy fall night, we hurried inside. In the back entryway, we were impressed by the roomy space with hooks for coats and small bags, floor space for wet shoes, luggage, and supplies. Fun old stairs led down to the basement. As we explored the house, we were absolutely charmed by the mix of modern and period touches. Everything was spotless. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked, and soft bed linens and comfy beds made for a wonderful night's sleep. Common areas allowed for adult conversation, grandchild play, or quiet reflection.
Sarah has created a welcoming and spacious place for people to stay. In daylight, we could see the beautiful trees, garden plants, and seasonal decorations that surrounded the house. Nature lovers will enjoy identifying plants and the many bird species around the farmhouse, and the view from the farm across the valley was amazing.
This was our favorite Airbnb stay ever! We look forward to visiting again in the near future.”

“The house was perfect for our group of 8 cycling friends on our little getaway to ride the Military Ridge State Trail. Plenty of room in the kitchen for us to prep and cook each night. We loved hanging out on the huge front porch and side patio with the fire table. Sarah was very responsive when we had questions. We look forward to our next visit!”

I’m “one of the guests this past Thanksgiving weekend at the 'Farmhouse'. Having stayed at many places, both B&B's and VRBO's, etc., I want to thank YOU for such a quality experience due to the gracious spacious environment and all the details.
I will just list all that come to mind... Both intimate and group settings, Master Bedroom Duvet, Lighting thru out, Beautiful period pieces/books, Quality soaps, Night lights, First floor heater, Multiple tables for both games/dining, Ping Pong table, Kleenex tissues thru out, Excellent quality cookware/dinner service.
There are probably a few things I'm overlooking but wanted to take the time to let you know. I'm hoping we can come stay again, maybe during a different season of the year.
